Listd Serial Watch
Got something stolen? Submit the serial number and your police case number below. Any new Listd listing with a matching serial gets auto-hidden and flagged for our team. We notify you the moment we get a hit.
How it works
- File a police report with your local department. Get the case number.
- Submit the form below with the item’s serial number (or VIN/HIN) and the case number.
- We auto-hide any existing or future Listd listing whose serial matches.
- When we get a hit, we email you and our admin team. From there, work with the PD.
What counts as a serial
- Vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles: the VIN
- Boats, jet skis: the HIN (hull ID)
- Power tools, generators, lawn equipment: the manufacturer serial on the data plate
- Electronics, laptops, cameras: S/N from sticker or the “About” menu
- Bicycles: serial stamped on the bottom of the bottom bracket
- Phones: IMEI (dial *#06# on the phone if you still have the box or another device)
- Watches, jewelry, instruments: serial stamped on case back / inside body / under saddle
We normalize before matching, so hyphens, spaces, and capitalization don’t matter. ABC-123/4 matches abc1234.
What we do with your information
- Your contact info is admin-only \u2014 it never appears on a listing or in public.
- The serial number itself stays private (admin-only) too. We don’t publish a public stolen-goods database.
- We respond to lawful requests from the PD you name. We don’t hand out info to strangers.
- See the privacy policy for the full list.
