Counterfeit goods and IP theft

• Knock-off designer bags, watches, shoes, electronics
• Bootleg DVDs, ripped media, pirated software, cracked games
• Replicas, fakes, and items sold as “authentic” that aren’t

Money, financial instruments, crypto

• Counterfeit currency (real or “for movie/prop use”)
• Cryptocurrency, NFTs, mining contracts, hash power
• Securities, stocks, bonds, loans, IOUs, gambling chips

Crypto mining rigs themselves (the hardware) are allowed if you own them.

Gift cards, tickets, and points

• Gift cards (Visa, Amazon, retail \u2014 too easy to scam)
• Concert tickets, sporting event tickets, theme park tickets
• Airline miles, hotel points, credit card rewards
• Subscription codes, streaming account logins

Regulated goods

• Alcohol, beer, wine, spirits, homebrew sales (sharing/gifting between friends is not a Listd transaction)
• Tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, vape pens, e-liquid, nicotine pouches
• Lottery tickets, scratch-offs, raffle tickets, sports bet slips

Tech and telecom

• Cell phone signal jammers, GPS jammers, Wi-Fi jammers
• Hacking tools, password crackers, keyloggers, RATs, stalkerware
• Hidden cameras marketed for spying, covert surveillance gear
• Cable/satellite descramblers, jailbroken streaming boxes loaded with piracy
• Blacklisted or stolen phones (check IMEI on Swappa ESN before posting)

Allowed

• Farm-fresh eggs (with required PA candling/labeling \u2014 the seller’s responsibility)
• Honey, maple syrup, jam, jellies, fruit preserves
• Home-grown produce
• Cottage food items (baked goods, candies, dry mixes) if you are registered as a PA Limited Food Establishment. Get registered free with PDA and put your registration number on the listing.

Not allowed

• Raw or processed meat, poultry, seafood from non-USDA-inspected sources
• Raw milk and unpasteurized dairy (PA requires a permit we can’t verify)
• Foraged wild mushrooms (one bad ID kills somebody)
• Expired food of any kind
• Baby formula (recall and counterfeit risk)
• Supplements making medical claims

You can sell your own titled vehicle, motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile, boat, or trailer on Listd. You cannot rent them out here yet \u2014 fleet insurance is a different beast and we’re not ready.

• VIN or HIN is required and public on every titled listing. No exceptions. Buyers will use it to run history and check for liens.
• You must attest you are the titled owner (or authorized to sell on the owner’s behalf).
• For PA buyers: bring the title to the local notary or AAA for transfer. PennDOT title transfer info. Boats and certain trailers go through the PA Fish & Boat Commission.
• Listd does not hold payments for vehicle sales. Always meet at a bank or in front of a notary, never wire money sight-unseen.

Stolen property is the #1 reason marketplaces get a bad reputation. We collect serial numbers on high-value items so we can cross-check them against the Listd Serial Watch \u2014 a public registry of items reported stolen with a police department case number.

• Medical equipment \u2014 CPAP, oxygen, mobility, anything prescribed

You can already sell any of these on Listd today. Renting them out is a different insurance world — we’re wiring up a per-rental insurance partner so the item is covered for damage, theft, and third-party liability during the rental. When that’s live these categories light up for rental in one step and you’ll see the new option in the composer.

Allowed but with extra steps

• CDL-required equipment. If your rental requires a commercial driver’s license to operate legally (heavy equipment, large box trucks), you must flag it. Renters attest they hold the license before booking.
• Motorcycle endorsement / boater safety. Same rule \u2014 owner flags, renter attests.
• Modified from factory. If you’ve modified the item from how it was built (lifted, tuned, swapped, rewired, de-restricted), you must disclose what changed in a dedicated disclosure field. Renters get to see it before booking.

• Off-platform payments. Never send money before you meet. Pay cash or digital at handoff.
• Multi-account abuse. One person, one account. Warning the first time, ban the second.
• Fake reviews. Don’t write reviews for friends or burner accounts. Warning, then ban.
• Dropshipping / arbitrage. Listd is for local goods, not Amazon resale. Ban.
• Contact info in photos or titles. No phone numbers, no “text me at\u2026”, no off-platform handles. Ban.
• Recording rental returns. If you want to record the condition of a returned item, that’s fine \u2014 PA is a two-party consent state for audio, so video-only is the safer call, and tell the other party you’re recording.
• Advertising other platforms. Don’t use Listd to drive traffic to your eBay store, OfferUp, etc. Ban.
• Soliciting unrelated services. No MLM pitches, no insurance sales, no real-estate cold outreach in messages. Ban.
• Bait-and-switch. Listing one thing, showing up with another. Ban.
• Self-buying / self-renting. Don’t buy or rent your own listings to fake activity. Ban.
• Reselling Founding Member status. Not transferable, not for sale. Ban.

• Server-side keyword and category checks at submit time \u2014 if your listing trips a rule, you see exactly why before you publish.
• Three user reports auto-hide a listing pending admin review.
• Serial Watch matches auto-hide instantly.
• Repeat offenders get banned. Catastrophic offenders get reported to law enforcement.

Every time you publish a listing you accept the current version of this policy and your acceptance is logged with a timestamp.
